Grand Knights History was a tactical rpg that only came out in Japan on PSP. It received rave reviews there but sadly never got localized. Its director, Tomohiko Deguchi, then went on to another studio and made Grand Kingdom, a spiritual successor to Grand Kinghts History that came out in Japan in November of last year on Playstation Vita. Thanks to NiS, the game is coming west this time around on June 17th.Much like Grand Knights History, Grand Kingdom is a tactical RPG that plays on lane in turn-based fashion. It's a game that focuses almost exclusively on its gameplay and got some positive reviews in Japan.Courtesy of NiS, a limited edition will be available when the game launches filled with goodies:Since the game's been out in Japan for quite a while, you can check out some early gameplay below:
A LOVER'S COMPLAINT
ULTRAFLOW is one of those free phone games that doesn't look like it should be free.It plays well, looks great, and feels highly polished, and yet there are no in-app purchases or ads.Not that free games can't be any of those things (they totally can), but I look at ULTRAFLOW and just wish there were more games like it on the app store. The game is 100% free on both iOS and Android. In ULTRAFLOW, you puzzle your way throw 99 levels of sometimes maddening ring-flinging physics.Your goal is to get a bouncing circle from its starting point to its destination in the designated amount of bounces. When you use up your bounces off the walls or obstacles, you explode and have to retry. The game doesn't baby you. It introduces a good amount of new tricks and mechanics early on, including moving barriers, Breakout-style brick smashing, and accelerators.
Unlimited Mod ApkIf you've found yourself bored of the Mario Kart Tour conversation, there might be an alternative. The developer of Tour Karts Mobile Edition is on the lookout for testers to be involved in a beta of their game. Though it will be heading to Android devices this particular beta is for iOS only.Tour Karts already exists on PC as both a VR and standard game. As the VR part implies, the game can be played from a first-person perspective but also has 3rd person and an AR view if you'd prefer. Both of these versions will have cross-play with the mobile edition and that feature will be available in the beta. You'll also be able to take part in three online game modes that include Daily Cups, Custom races and Random Play. On top of that, there's also a story mode that features over 500 challenges, that will apparently take you over 120 hours to complete.
Did livery falseness in a pride of truth. At the time, we called it "an intriguing experience" with "an indefatigable sweetness that never edges into the saccharine."Now Florence, from Monument Valley's Ken Wong, has topped the 2018 mobile category at The Game Awards, taking place this evening at the Microsoft Theater in LA. This means it beat popular titles Reigns and PUBG. Winner winner, chicken dinner, indeed.

Call of Duty Mobile composer Walter Mair has shared his thoughts on what it was like to work on CoD mobile alongside what he was trying to achieve with the main theme of the game. I sometimes feel like it's easy to forget music can still be an integral part of mobile gaming, especially as not every person has the volume up or their headphones plugged in when gaming on the go.Walter Mair himself is no stranger to video game scores, having worked on the likes of various GTAs and Sony's Killzone series in the past. Outside of gaming, he's also worked on Netflix's Formula 1: Drive to Survive and the music for the 2015 documentary about Cristiano Ronaldo. Working on this specific project he said: “It was a truly rewarding experience scoring the music for Call of Duty: Mobile. Such an iconic and groundbreaking title demanded an original, thematic and hybrid approach to reflect its cinematic and immersive gameplay as well as representing the entire legacy of the franchise, including the Modern Warfare and Black Ops universes”.I definitely feel like there are shades of both series' that he mentions in the main theme of the game and it's an excellent piece of music. Outside of the game itself, you can listen to the main theme in much higher quality than most of the YouTube videos knocking around over on his Soundcloud page. He also compared the composition of the main theme to that of the upcoming Zombies track. He said: “The main theme is heroic and epic in scope, recorded with live instrumentation including solo cello and blended with experimental modular synth sounds. By contrast, the zombies' theme combines dark and outer-worldly sounds created by extended playing techniques to produce a unique sinister vibe.”I've always enjoyed the various themes for the Zombie modes, since their inception, so Mair's description of his track makes me more excited for the Zombie mode to be added than I already was.Call of Duty Mobile is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.

Exciting news today for all you Google Stadia fans out there. Google has now opened a new studio in Playa Vista, California headed by Sony Santa Monica's old boss, Shannon Studstill. The announcement arrived today in a post written by Jade Raymond, VP and Head of Stadia Games and Entertainment. The Playa Vista studio will focus on delivering exclusives, "using new gameplay mechanics, creative ways to play together and unique interaction models".Nothing has been announced regarding the games in development at the studio, but it's obviously still very early days. "Rest assured we are listening to what gamers want and adding our own Stadia twists to create new IP and experiences".?New studio unlocked? We've opened a brand new games studio in Playa Vista. The team will be focused on delivering exclusive games with our own special twists for new IPs and experiences.Check out our blog for more details → https://t.co/J1WM5UTJP7— Stadia (@GoogleStadia) March 4, 2020Raymond describes Studstill as a "visionary who, as the Studio Director, will lead and inspire the Playa Vista teams". Studstill is perhaps best known for her work with Sony Santa Monica, where she recently produced the award-winning God of War.Stadia's Montreal studio opened late last year. That one's also focused on putting out exclusives. As much as we like seeing games hit every platform possible, it's clear that the likes of Google and Sony still see an incredible amount of value in putting out exclusive titles.Personally, a couple of top-tier exclusives might be enough to get me interested in the platform. That said, there are few developers out there with the funding required to make, say, a God of War or The Last of Us, so it'll be interesting to see whether Stadia's studios can compete.Searching for the best games of tomorrow? Here are 53 quality titles in soft launch
