Updated on October 8th, at 14:20: We've since found out what the Apple Watch compatibility with Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom is all about.Turns out that developer Hardlight made a Sonic-themed pedometer to go along with the game.As with any pedometer, it tracks your footsteps, but it also gives you in-game rewards for being active. The more active you are outside of the game the more you unlock inside it.Here's some pictures:Original story follows...Ah, so that's what Sega meant when it said Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom would be out "soon." It meant it'd be out in a week.Well, it's out on iOS at least. No sign of the Android version at the moment.Anyway, do you know what this is? Do you want to know what this is?It's endless running Sonic, just like Sonic Dash, except he has a scarf and Knuckles is a triangle. The big difference between this sequel and the original, apart from its dress sense, is that you can switch between three characters during your run.And you'll need to as well due to different challenges (running, flying, climbing) being thrown your way. There are also new characters from the Sonic Boom universe added.Fancy giving it a go? You can download Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom for free on the App Store.Original island cracked version
We were originally told by Oddworld Inhabitants to expect Oddworld New 'n' Tasty - the remake of the first game in the series - in the spring of this year. We're approaching winter now and the game still isn't out. So what's up?The developer took to its blog today to explain the delay, which applies to not just the Vita version of the game, but all the rest except the already released PS4 version."Fitting the expansive worlds of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty into the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita has proved to be something of a challenge," the developer said. The main issue has been the limited RAM of the Vita, which means some of the bigger areas have had to be broken down to fit.On top of that, some of the visual effects, lighting, and animation aren't quite up to scratch yet.Further, while the game is running at its native resolution on Vita, apparently it comes with "some degree of difficulty".Their kind acceptance weepingly beseeched,
We talked about Square Enix's wave of teaser last week and one of these was Project: RISING and it looked Final Fantasy-ish.While it doesn't have the name, Samurai Rising's key art looks a lot like something you'd see in a main Final Fantasy title.Nonetheless, the game looks like an exciting action RPG that should be out this Spring in Japan and you can pre-register for it here.It seems to heavily feature magic and a party system that could potentially tie-in with some online multiplayer.
In 1999 Chris Sawyer and his team created RollerCoaster Tycoon, a realistic simulation that took place inside a theme park.At the times it was in 2D but it was quite exhilarating to have the freedom to create the craziest Roller Coaster you could imagine.Eventually the series became wildly popular, spawned sequel and then the franchise was transferred to Frontier who brought it out in full 3D.A port of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 was released last year on mobile but for those looking to recreate the feeling of the originals, Chris and his origin8 studio are working on bringing RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 as announced in an interview with Eurogamer. It's not the first game that they've released on mobile as Transport Tycoon was also one of their franchises. And since the port was great, I have high hopes for this one too.Let's hope it will come with its expansion packs too!
