Software introduction

Well here’s a pleasant mid-week surprise for you—Pokemon Quest has launched on iOS and Android a day early. You can download the game right now and live out all of your voxel-y Pokemon dreams. Pokemon Quest is a free-to-play idle RPG that landed on the Switch a few weeks ago. It looks as though the mobile version remains largely unchanged.

First released on iPad back in 2016, ROME: Total War is getting its iPhone launch in only a week and we're pretty freaking excited for it.

Which fortified her visage from the sun,

    "I shall never forget--and I shall never come back to Four Winds," said Owen briefly.

On the look out for a castle-building board game adaptation, but don't want to throw huge chunks of cash away on it? Well you're in luck, because Castles of Mad King Ludwig is going for less than a couple of quid on the App Store right now.

The game, as you can probably work out from the title, is all about building castles. These aren't normal castles though, they're a bit on the mad side. Each player lays a tile, but one player each round sets the prices.Click here to find out what the 3 best classic board games for mobile are

It makes for some intriguing gameplay and strategy possibilities, and there's pass and play and online multiplayer options alongside the campaign mode too. And you can get it for just £1.99 / $1.99 at the moment.
Madness
At review we called the game "a satisfying thing to tackle in bit-sized pieces," and gave it a Bronze Award.

Our main qualm with the game was the lack of online multiplayer, but that's since been added to the experience. You can click here to read our full review.

If any of this sounds like it might be the sort of thing you'd like to throw money at, you can head over to the App Store and grab the game for just 99p / 99c by clicking this link.
&#;&#;

    &#;"Oh, you think a couplet of poetry a convincing argument!" scoffed Anne. "That is so like a man."&#;

This is a bit of a weird one, so bear with me. Remember Driver, the sort-of open world crime driving sim that saw you skidding around cities, avoiding the cops, and generally being an irresponsible citizen?

Well Ubisoft has just soft launched a new entry in the series in New Zealand and Australia. Except this time you're not driving a car. You're driving a boat. So more Boater than Driver I guess.

The game is called Driver Speedboat Paradise, and rather than piloting your boat around open cities, you're basically involved in races.

Occasionally you need to burst through police lines using a nitro boost though, so there's that.

There are a variety of races and time trials to sail through in the single player campaign mode, and it looks pretty nice I guess.

For some reason all I can think about is the Hulk Hogan-fronted TV show Thunder in Paradise. That also had boats in it and didn't really make any sense.

If you're interested in giving the game a go you can grab it right now for nothing if you live in Australia or New Zealand. We'll let you know when it goes live in the rest of the world as well.
TouchArcade
