Implosion - Never Lose Hope has a lot of empty promises surrounding it, but don't let that fool you, it's worth a look.

Its creator, Rayark, seems more intent on pushing phrases like "console-quality graphics" and "Hollywood-grade audio production" at us, rather than getting to the heart of what makes Implosion good.

Sure, its graphics are of console quality, if the console you're referring to is the PS2. And the audio is alright, sure. But lets focus on Implosion's combo system, yeah?

It works similarly to the fighting in Devil May Cry and Bayonetta in that it looks superb, is easy to pull off, and makes it feel like you've got room to customize each move.

You can tap the attack button rapidly to see your guy-in-a-mech-suit breakdance with a sword, performing a standard combo (except it's far from standard, being more of a balletic flurry of metal and blades).

But you can also put gaps between the taps to charge up more powerful but slower strikes. And you can vary the speed of the taps up in a long string of moves to get a mixture of light and hard attacks.

It's pretty great, actually, if only due to most mobile brawlers being either being much simpler, or trying to be more complex and failing.

Here, in Implosion, pulling off moves is intuitive and can be managed smoothly. It feels like you're fighting with flow and power, as a mech suit should allow. The animations are suitably dramatic, too - high-speed spins, rolls, and electric sparks dancing in the air.

You can also add extra moves to the core fighting mechanics (operated with a separate button) that are more powerful, direct, or issue damage to a wider area. They all have cooldown times to keep an eye on, of course.

Following the path of Platinum Games's superb action titles there's no block or guard button here. You can only dodge out of the way. That's all you need.

So, pay no attention to the grandeur the game's description offers up. You won't be playing Implosion for its looks or sounds.
The second episode reproduces the unique atmosphere of Evolution that millions of players liked. Evolution 2’s gameplay has changed drastically, turning into an intense mix of third-person top-down shooter, action, strategy, and RPG!

Indygo is an interactive portrayal of one man’s descent into depression. Developed over two years by Pigmentum Games Studio based in Poland, the point-and-click narrative has been shown at a number of international gaming conventions, gaining award nominations along the way. Despite his creative work garnering critical acclaim, Thomas has withdrawn into a hermetic state, cooped up alone in his gloomy studio. In fact, the developers purposely prevent you exploring beyond this cramped apartment. As days slip into months, you discover more about Thomas’ state of mind and relationships through his melancholic narration, as well as letters to his girlfriend Anna and his doctor. Updated on September 8th, at 14:47: If you're still expecting Minecraft version 0.12 to drop today, you shouldn't get your hopes up too high.
The update will "probably not [launch] today as we hoped", says Mojang's Jeb. Expect it a little later this week.

As usual, the update will only go out on Android when Apple is done reviewing the iOS version. However, you can play it right now (and make use of our awesome new guides) via Amazon.

Original story follows…

The huge new 0.12 update to Minecraft Pocket Edition has been submitted to the App Store approval team, which "hopefully means that MCPE will come out for iOS around the 8th of September", says main man Tommaso Checchi.

Though, he admits by giving a specific date, that he has "immediately jinxed it". Given Apple's approval turnaround time (about six days) it should definitely be out sometime next week.

As usual, the update will be released on Android and Windows Phone the second it hits iOS. Though, beta players on Android won't don't have to wait for stoopid Apple fanboys to catch up: Build 14 is out today.

So what can we look forward to in version 0.12? All this stuff, including weather and The Nether and hunger and potions and ocelots and stone golems. Crikey!
